Dog Friendly Places to Eat in Carolina Beach
Carolina Beach is dog friendly after 5pm between April and September, or any time of day between October and March. If you go to the north end of Carolina Beach, however, you'll find Freeman Park -- a part of the beach that is Dog Friendly year-round. Just make sure you stay north of the pier and pay attention to the leash rules posted at the entrance!
1. Havana's - This seafood restaurant has a large outdoor patio and a beautiful garden so you can enjoy a great meal with your furry friend! Be warned, though, it can be a bit crowded during dinner time and you'll want to check the weather forecast beforehand in case of rain.
2. Michael's Seafood Restaurant - This restaurant has an open-air outdoor seating area that is situated beside a small pond full of fish. They are best known for their award-winning chowder.
3. Seawitch Café and Tiki Bar - This restaurant has pet-friendly seating on the open-air sections of the deck. You can expect good food (such or dinner), friendly service, a tiki bar, year-round entertainment, and close proximity to the beach. It can get a bit loud at night, though--especially on the weekends--so keep that in mind if your pup is more skittish.
4. Olde Salty -
5. Majik Beanz - OK, so this is not technically a "place to eat". It is a coffee shop, but I felt it was notable to mention since they are dog friendly!
